Papers of Thomas Reed of Littleton, Mass. (later of Leominster), including deeds to lands in Littleton, Leominster, and other locations; numerous receipts, accounts, and promissory notes; papers related to his part in the lumber industry in Maine with his son Avery; three small account books (1826-50); and his will and estate papers. Also included are papers, including receipts, deeds (especially to lands in Acton and Westford, Mass.), and estate papers, including inventories, of Mrs. Deidamia Rogers of Westford for whom Reed was executor of the estate. (Cont'd) Other members of the Reed family represented are Reed's son George A., Sophia F. Reed, whose compositions and sketches are included, and Charlotte Reed Heustis, whose diary of a voyage from San Francisco to the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii), and return to New York via Cape Horn on the ship Georgio (27 Aug. 1865 - 26 July 1866) is also included.
